Eva Meijer is an artist, writer, philosopher and singer-songwriter. She works in different media, ranging from performance art, music theatre, installations, video's, drawings and photographs to toys for pigs. Eva is currently working on a PhD project in philosophy, titled 'Political Animal Voices', at the University of Amsterdam, where she also teaches. She is the chair of the Dutch study group for Animal Ethics and Minding Animals The Netherlands. Academic publications can be found here.
Lize Korpershoek is an illustrator, writer and producer for CineVille. She is founder of the Dutch Facebook page 'I'd rather watch pictures of cats instead of watching The Voice of Holland' and the film program 'Poezenavond' (De Uitkijk).
Maarten Reesink is a lecturer at the Media and culture department of the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Currently he is specializing in Animal Studies, which is concerned with the representation and meaning of animals in popular and audiovisual culture (see the website: www.animalstudies.nl).
