The past couple of years it was hard to have missed the big up rise of Virtual Reality. But in what way have the possibilities that are offered by this technology been used to experience films in completely new ways? Is the way we tell stories starting to change? This year at Go Short we want to look a bit closer at the short Cinematic VR productions that are being produced and present a number of new films to our audience in a VR Cinema, so you can experience firsthand how the film of the future will look and feel like. The experts behind the Dutch VR Days have curated a program for Go Short of nine films that range from documentary to stop motion and from thrillers to comedies. The Dutch VR Days is the first big Virtual Reality festival to take place in Europe, hosting workshops, demo’s and a conference. dutchvrdays.nl All films can be experienced on the newest Samsung Gear VR’s, that transform your Samsung phone in a Virtual Reality experience. We will be showing the films throughout the whole festival in the pavilion.
